Swim with us on September 4th, 2021
We are excited to bring to you this swim in beautiful Gellatly Bay in West Kelowna.
The swim features a choice of two distances, either 2.5KM or 5KM, in a stunning swimming area in Okanagan Lake, West Kelowna.
Gellatly Bay is an incredibly scenic swimming spot, with a wide pedestrian pathway that follows the swim route on the final legs.

Drown Proofing Our Kids
The YMCA Okanagan Swims Program was created in 2012 to help drown-proof our kids. Solely funded by the Across the Lake Swim Society, we donate funds from our events to run the program. Each year we send EVERY 3rd grader in School District #23 (from Peachland to Lake Country) for FREE swimming lessons to teach them lifesaving water safety skills. This is over 1400 children each year! Since the program's creation in 2012 we have sent over 16,000 children and donated in excess of $145,000
